A Smarter Way to Get There Campaign
The relocation and expansion of businesses to the Harbor East area of Baltimore City presented an equal
increase in traffic on several Baltimore streets – President Street, in particular. In an effort to alleviate congestion,
Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore sought a branded marketing solution to informed commuters of the
various public transit alternatives. Alongside other branding and website
components, illume deployed a street team.
To maximize attention on the team, illume designed and constructed a
rolling light-rail train, which traveled along the waterfront. The constructed train was about one third the size of an
actual train.
